William R. Chapman, M.D.

William R. Chapman, M.D.

William R. Chapman, III, M.D. received his BS degree from Troy State University in Biology and Chemistry in 1975. He earned his MD degree in 1981 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and completed his Surgical and Urologic training in 1986 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Chapman joined Urology Specialists, P.C. in 1986, and is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is currently on the advisory board for Crestwood Hospital, and has served as the Chief of Staff.

  

 


Michael W. Brown, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Michael W. Brown, M.D., F.A.C.S.

 

Michael W. Brown, M.D. received his B.S. from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1976, graduating summa cum laude. He obtained his M.D. from Northwestern University in 1980 and received his post-graduate training in Surgery and Urology at Duke University. After completing his residency, Dr. Brown remained on the faculty of the Division of Urology at Duke University until joining Urology Specialists, P.C. in 1987. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is married with two children, and his hobbies include rowing and playing the violin.

 


James A. Flatt, M.D. , F.A.C.S.

James A. Flatt, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University, graduating summa cum laude.  He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1985.  He completed his Surgical and Urologic residencies at Duke University in 1991, where he served as Teaching Scholar in Urologic Surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Flatt has served as the Chief of the Division of Urology of the Huntsville Hospitals, and as Chief of Staff of Crestwood Medical Center.  He is active in his church and in Scouting, and is married with two children.

 

 


V. Keith Jiminez, M.D., F.A.C.S.

V. Keith Jiminez, M.D., F.A.C.S.

V. Keith Jiminez, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in chemistry with a minor in biology from Huntingdon College, where he graduated summa cum laude.  He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 1995, where he received Alpha Omega Alpha Honors.  He completed his Surgical and Urologic residencies at Emory University.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Urology.

 Joining Urology Specialists in 2001, Dr. Jiminez has special interests in   laparoscopic techniques and daVinci robotic surgery for kidney, adrenal, and prostate cancers as well as other urologic malignancies. 

 Dr. Jiminez has served as Division Chief of Urology at Huntsville Hospital and as Chief of Surgery at Crestwood Medical Center.   Dr. Jiminez is married to Stephanie Jiminez, M.D., a radiologist practicing with Radiology of Huntsville.  They have two children.   Dr. Jiminez’s hobbies include scuba diving, tennis, and fishing.

Michael "Tyler" Wood, M.D.

 M. Tyler Wood, M.D. is a graduate of Auburn university and has both B.S. and Masters Degree in microbiology. He earned his medical doctorate fromt he University of South Alabama and has recently completed his Urology Residency at the University of Mississippi. He is originally from Cullman, AL. Dr. Wood is married with one child. Dr. Wood's hobbies include playing guitar and piano, as well as hunting, fishing, golf, tennis and spending time with his wife and son.
