Michael “Tyler” Wood, M.D.

Dr. Wood joined Urology Specialists in 2018. He earned his medical degree at University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2013 and completed his residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a member of the American Urologic Association.
Dr. Wood serves as the Vice Chief of Surgery at Crestwood Medical Center.
His special interests include urological oncology, complex stone disease, surgical and medical treatment of BPH and daVinci robotic surgery with focus on prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy and pyeloplasty.
Dr. Wood is married to Christine Wood, CRNP and they have one child. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and piano, as well as hunting, fishing, golf, tennis and spending time with his wife and son.
